Advances in contact lens technology have made today's lenses more comfortable and versatile than ever before.

Soft Contact Lenses

The most commonly prescribed type of contact lens, designed for excellent comfort and everyday wear.

Daily Disposable Lenses

Fresh lenses every day with no cleaning required, offering convenience, comfort, and excellent eye health benefits.

Monthly Replacement Lenses

Durable lenses designed for regular wear and replacement on a monthly schedule.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

Designed to help patients see clearly at multiple distances, often reducing the need for reading glasses.

Toric Contact Lenses

Specialized lenses designed to correct astigmatism while maintaining stable, clear vision.

Specialty Contact Lenses

Customized options available for certain eye conditions, unique prescriptions, keratoconus, and specialized visual needs.

Colored Contact Lenses

Colored contact lenses can enhance or completely change the appearance of your eye color. These lenses are still prescription medical devices and require proper fitting, evaluation, and care. Not all contact lens manufacturers offer colored lens options.

Benefits of Contact Lenses

Many patients enjoy contact lenses because they offer:

● Natural, unobstructed vision

● Freedom from eyeglass frames

● Excellent vision for sports and active lifestyles

● Compatibility with sunglasses

● Improved peripheral vision

● Convenience for work, travel, and recreation

Our doctors can help determine whether contact lenses are a good fit for your lifestyle and eye health.

The Contact Lens Fitting Process

A contact lens fitting involves much more than simply determining your glasses prescription.

During a contact lens evaluation, we assess:

● Your vision correction needs

● Corneal shape and measurements

● Tear film quality

● Overall eye health

● Lens comfort and fit

Based on these findings, we recommend lenses that provide optimal vision, comfort, and long-term eye health. New wearers receive one-on-one guidance on proper insertion, removal, cleaning, and care techniques to help ensure a successful contact lens experience.

Annual Contact Lens Evaluation

Even if your vision seems unchanged, annual contact lens evaluations are important for monitoring eye health and ensuring your lenses continue to fit properly.

Regular evaluations help us:

● Monitor prescription changes

● Evaluate lens performance

● Assess corneal health

● Identify potential issues early

● Recommend new technologies when appropriate

Maintaining regular contact lens evaluations supports both comfortable vision and long-term eye health.

Contact Lens Brands Available

We offer many of today's leading contact lens brands, including options from:

● Alcon

● Johnson & Johnson Vision

● CooperVision

● Bausch + Lomb

Our doctors will recommend the lens brand and design that best matches your prescription, eye health, and lifestyle needs.

Contact Lens Evaluations

Contact lenses are medical devices that come in many different powers, base curves, diameters, and materials. The Contact Lens Evaluation fee for existing contact lens wearers covers the additional testing and professional assessment required to determine and update your contact lens prescription. It is common for your contact lens prescription to differ from your eyeglass prescription.

New Contact Lens Fits

Our New Contact Lens Fit fee includes:

● Initial contact lens fitting and evaluation

● Trial contact lenses

● One-on-one insertion, removal, and care training

● One follow-up visit to evaluate the fit and comfort of your trial lenses

Failure to attend the required follow-up appointment within 30 days of the initial fitting will require the fitting process to begin again, including payment of a new fitting fee.

Additional follow-up visits beyond those included with the fitting are $40 per visit and are due at the time of service.

If your trial lenses are uncomfortable to wear, please bring them to your follow-up appointment in the case provided so the doctor can evaluate the fit.

Trial Contact Lenses

Trial lenses are provided at no charge for new fit and refit patients.

Additional trial lenses requested beyond 30 days from the fitting date will incur a $30 fee.

Contact Lens Refits

Patients being refitted into a different contact lens may be provided trial lenses to evaluate a new lens design, material, or prescription.

If the doctor determines that a follow-up appointment is necessary, your contact lens prescription will not be finalized or released until the required follow-up visit has been completed.

Follow-up appointments for refit patients are $40 per visit and are due at the time of service.

Ordering Contact Lenses

Once contact lenses are ordered, they are considered your property and cannot be returned except as allowed by the manufacturer's warranty or exchange policy.

Payment in full is required before any contact lens order is placed.

Contact lens orders left unclaimed at our office for more than 90 days may be returned to the supplier, and no refund will be issued.

Contact Lens Prescription Expiration

Federal law requires a valid contact lens prescription to purchase contact lenses.

Contact lens prescriptions are valid for one year from the date of the examination unless otherwise specified by your doctor.
