Our Commitment
Your satisfaction and comfort matter to us. If for any reason you need to request a refund for products or services, we've outlined the full process below so you know exactly what to expect. Our team is here to help every step of the way.
Frame Warranty
Most frames purchased from Magnolia Place Eyecare include a one-time manufacturer warranty replacement within 12 months for manufacturer defects, including broken temples, hinges, and nose pads.
To qualify for warranty replacement:
● All pieces of the frame must be returned.
● Frames must be free of glue residue, bite marks, or evidence of misuse.
● Lost or stolen eyewear is not covered.
Frame Damage Protection
As a courtesy, if a frame purchased from Magnolia Place Eyecare is accidentally damaged within 6 months of dispensing and is not covered under the manufacturer warranty, we may offer a replacement frame at 50% of the current retail price.
This courtesy replacement does not apply to lost eyewear, theft, abuse, pet damage, or intentional damage.
Complimentary Adjustments & Repairs
We are happy to provide complimentary cleaning, adjustments, and minor repairs on eyewear purchased from Magnolia Place Eyecare for as long as you own your glasses. No appointment is necessary.
Please note:
● Adjustments always carry a risk of breakage.
● Magnolia Place Eyecare is not responsible for damage that occurs while adjusting eyewear purchased elsewhere or eyewear purchased from our office that is over one year old.
Patient-Owned Frames
Patients may request new lenses be installed into their existing frame. While we exercise great care during this process, older frames may become brittle and metal components may weaken over time.
Because of this risk:
● Magnolia Place Eyecare cannot guarantee the integrity of patient-owned frames.
● We are not responsible for breakage, damage, or loss of patient-owned frames during handling or processing.
● If a frame breaks during processing, replacement costs for both frame and lenses are the responsibility of the patient.
● Acceptance of a patient-owned frame is at the discretion of the optician.
Lens Warranty
Crizal® Lenses
Crizal-branded lenses include a two-year, two-time scratch warranty.
SharpView+ Lenses
SharpView+ lenses include a one-year, one-time warranty.
TD2 Treatment
TD2-treated lenses include a one-year, one-time warranty.
Warranty coverage applies to manufacturer defects and qualifying scratches under the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
Progressive Lens Adaptation Policy
Most patients successfully adapt to progressive lenses. New progressive wearers should allow up to 30 days for adaptation.
If adaptation difficulties occur:
● The doctor will evaluate the issue and determine the most appropriate solution.
● Progressive lenses may be remade into lined bifocals or single-vision lenses at no charge.
● No refund will be issued for the difference in lens pricing.
● Requests must be initiated within 60 days of eyewear dispensing.
After 60 days, any lens changes or remakes will be the responsibility of the patient.
Eyeglass Ordering Policy
Prescription eyewear is custom-made specifically for each patient.
● A minimum deposit of 50% is required before an order can be placed.
● Orders requiring certain insurance laboratories (including VSP) must be paid in full at the time of order.
● All balances must be paid in full before eyewear can be dispensed.
● Eyewear may be placed on hold for up to 30 days pending payment.
Changes After an Order Is Placed
Once an order has been submitted to the laboratory, changes may be limited.
While we will make every effort to accommodate requested changes:
● Additional laboratory fees may apply.
● Added lens options such as anti-reflective coatings or Transitions® lenses may result in additional charges.
● Refunds are not available for removing lens treatments after lenses have been manufactured.
Prescription Requirement
Federal law requires a valid prescription for the purchase of prescription eyewear.
Eyeglass prescriptions are valid for one year from the date of examination unless otherwise indicated by the prescribing doctor.
