Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr.

Optometrist

For over four decades, Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr. has been dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the Tallassee community and surrounding communities. Since opening his private practice in May 1986, he has built a reputation for compassionate care, clinical excellence, and a genuine commitment to his patients' lifelong eye health.

 

Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Auburn University in 1981 before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 1985. Shortly thereafter, he returned home to establish a practice focused on delivering personalized, comprehensive eye care to families throughout the River Regionoughout his career, Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr. has cared for patients of all ages, from young children receiving their first eye examination to seniors managing complex vision and eye health conditions. His professional interests include primary eye care and the medical diagnosis and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye syndrome, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

 

Licensed by the Alabama Board of Optometry and Therapeutics Certified, Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr. remains committed to staying current with advancements in eye care technology and treatment options. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Southern Council of Optometrists.

Dr. Paris Mullins, Jr. enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and 19 grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and he treasures every opportunity to create lasting memories with them. His interests include traveling, serving his community, and staying actively involved in the lives of those around him. His dedication to both his patients and his community reflects the same values that have guided his practice for nearly four decades. 

Dr. Nicholas Mullins

Optometrist

Dr. Nicholas Mullins joined the practice in 2021.

Dr. Nicholas Mullins graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2017 and then completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021.

He is state-licensed by the Alabama Board of Optometry and is Therapeutics Certified. Dr. Nicholas Mullins is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Southern Council of Optometrists.

Dr. Nic and his wife have 3 children. He loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
